Many of us love the flavor and texture of cheese.  It is a tasty addition to a variety of meals.  Plus, cheese can be very nutritious.  It is an excellent source of protein, calcium, vitamin A and phosphorous.  However, on the flip side, most cheeses are also high in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium.  And diets high in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium can clog our arteries and increase our risk of heart disease and strokes.

So, since many people are partial to the rich and creamy taste of cheese, but are also trying to be healthier, I’m going to answer the question: Can I eat cheese and still maximize my health?
